So here it is, Issue Three! What’s happened since White Lemonade Issue Two? Well the compilation tape, ‘Wonderful Smile’ was eventually released in July. The response has been really positive, “I never realised there were so many good bands in Wales; perhaps a follow-up compilation?” It’s certainly a possibility.
On the gig front, White Lemonade is co-promoting a couple of gigs in conjunction with the Valleys Live Festival. There’s Half Man Half Biscuit at the Rhondda Sports Centre on October 10th and The Tinmen, Hoja and Fruitcake at The Muni, Pontypridd on October 27th. There’s also a White Lemonade club night happening at The Muni in the near future, so watch out for that one.
You’ll notice the ‘World Lemonade town & Country’ list further on in this issue. Every country that the ‘zine finds its way to outside of Wales will be listed here and added to in future issues. Adds an international flavour don’t you think?
